Paratox is a live act from the middle of Germany established back in 2004. The two friends, Nick and Peter got infected in 1994 when they visited their first trance party in the famous club „Grube“ in the 'nowhereland' „Sauerland“, Germany. Soon they found out that this style of music will take an important position in their future life, so they started to DJ an spin the decks in 1996. After a while the two friends was not satisfied anymore in just spinning the decks and started to learn more about producing and creating own sounds. The result was the birth of Paratox in 2004. In 2006 they played a gig together with P.Schock and Ali.3n and everybody recognized a strong connection musicallywise as well as personallywise – so they got invited to be a part of Spontaneous Aerobics. Since then Paratox is a part of the sportive family, playing gigs all over europe and becoming more and more known. Their first outputs will take place on the upcoming compilation Switchback, many more will follow.... Their style can be best described as an very acidicious twilight dark trance – music for intelligent people... watch out for these guys – you will love them....
