DJ Boom Shankar is Armin, a 28 year old Dj from southern Germany who got infected by the Psytrance Scene back in 1996 on magical gatherings in Switzerland. This addiction led to the start of his Djing life two years later.Simultaneously he started to travel in yearly intervals to Asia where he found an even more colourful scene than back home. From this moment on, travelling and djing formed a combination still lasting... In 2001 he founded the tribe Bruder Mond Schwester Sonne (BMSS). Boom Shankar's sets are a mirror of this combination whether he is playing his Twilight Night or his Mystic Morning Sets; they are always affected by deepness and are filled with a high dosage of energy. Positive, but far not cheesy melodies, pumping and rolling baselines and the full spectrum of psychedelic - mind-blowing effects are compulsory elements which, together with his mixing skills, will defentately bring you to the dancefloor! For him, Djing is like a mutual communication with the people on the dancefloor according to the motto “giving and receiving” He believes that improvisation is necessary to fully understand the desires and energies of the dancers in order to reach higher levels of Trance.
